Sessions are generally 50 minutes in length and should focus on providing practical content that professionals can implement and benefit from without buying a particular product or professional service. A brief "non-salesy" mention of a specific solution is fine if it’s relevant, but avoid sales pitches and/or sales-oriented material promoting or endorsing specific brands.
The HRPA's Programs Committee reviews all speaker submissions. Here’s what we review:
• Speaker's credentials, reputation and subject expertise
• Proposed topic, relevance to the profession, new approach or research findings
• Ratings based on past session evaluations (where applicable)
• How the presentation proposal supports HRPA's mission and vision
Key Dates & Important Notes
• The deadline for submitting to speak at HRPA 2020 Annual Conference has been extended to March 21, 2019. Submissions received after this deadline will be considered for the following year’s conference.
• Speakers must be available to present on any one of the three days of the conference: January 22 – January 24, 2020
• Selected speakers will be officially notified and receive their speaker contract by May 15, 2019 and will be notified of their schedule by July 31, 2019
• To submit a presentation proposal, create a new account under "Login"
• Please limit the number of submissions to three
